Re-construction of 'dangerous roundabouts' on Kumasi-Ejisu road begins

Reconstruction work has begun on four roundabouts on the Kumasi-Ejisu stretch of the main Kumasi-Accra highway. 

These roundabouts have been described by many as dangerous. 

They have over the years caused vehicular traffic along the major trunk road as well as accidents mostly involving haulage trucks, which struggle to negotiate the roundabout. 

The Roads and Highways Minister, Akwasi Amoako Atta, MPs from the Kumasi Metropolis and a team of Engineers from the Ghana Highways Authority inspected progress of work there.
