Ghanaian Workers Join 80 Other Countries To Mark 128th May Day Celebration Workers in Ghana will this morning join more than 80 countries to mark the 128th anniversary of May Day. Since Ghana joined the celebration of the working class in 1960, workers groups adorned in their shirts and other attires decorated with May Day and the TUC logo, will converge on designated parks across the country to be addressed by leaders of the TUC and political heads in the regions. This years's celebration is on the theme: “Uniting Workers for Social and Economic advancement.” President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to address the national parade in Kumasi.
