Ghana to conduct National Agriculture Census

Government, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO, is to conduct a National Agriculture Census to update the country's data on  the sector. The Ashanti Regional Director of Agriculture, Reverend John Manu who made this known to Radio Ghana, noted that the upcoming Census will be the first in 40 years, since the last National Data Collection  was undertaken . He said a training for Enumerators is  scheduled to take place in Kumasi.
