Government acquire land in Komenda and Shama to construct Airport

In line with government's vision to expand  infrastructure in the country to facilitate trade and investment, a four thousand acre land has been acquired at the Komenda and Shama  in the Western and Central regions for the construction of an airport towards this initiative. 

The Minister for Aviation, Cecilia Abena Dapaa, has paid a working visit to the site to have first hand information on the project. 

Speaking to the media, Madam Dapaa was hopeful that the project when completed will serve  freight issues in the two regions and beyond.
