Thirty best performing candidates in 2017 BECE receive President's award

Thirty deserving students have been honoured at this years President’s Awards.

Drawn from all the ten regions of the country, the awardees were selected based on their exceptional performance in the 2017 BECE as well as other curricula activities.

President Akufo Addo reiterated the importance government places on access to quality education.

He indicated that as government strives to move the country beyond aid, educating future leaders cannot be compromised as it is the most effective way to change the fortunes of the economy.
