CSGs to lead campaign to extend Presidents term of office to 5 years

Civil Society Groups (CSGs) have been asked to lead in the crusade for a change in the tenure of office of the President. 

Governance Expert, Professor Baffour Agyemang Duah, said a five year term will be appropriate for any government to make meaningful impact. 

Professor Baffour Agyemang Duah's admonishment follows a similar call by former Presidents Rawlings and Kuffour.

Professor Agyemang Duah however said in the likely event of having a bad leader, then that leader will be stuck with the country till his tenure ends.
