Aged tasked to provide counsel to guide Ghana's political process The aged have been asked to bring their knowledge to bear in shaping the country's development. They have also been urged to direct the youth to make the right choices and be bold in telling them about the consequences of their actions. The Executive Director of Help Age Ghana, an NGO, Ebenezer Adjetey-Sorsey made the call at the 2018 Day for the Aged Celebration organised by the Church of Christ Help Ministry in Accra. The Church of Christ's Help Ministry is a benevolent society in the church which aims at supporting the needy and vulnerable in society. The Day for the aged is used to create public awareness on the need to honour and take responsibility for the aged in the church and communities. The Director of Help Age Ghana, Ebenezer Adjetey-Sorsey, encouraged the aged to caution the youth in their communities who are engaged in vices which are detrimental to their future. He also entreated them to serve as mirror to politicians and stem the tide when the political atmosphere is heated.
