GhIPSS urges cashless transactions to avoid robbery attacks

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement System, Archie Hesse, is cautioning employers and traders to move away from carrying bulk physical cash and embrace the electronic mode of business transactions to minimise the spate of deadly attacks by armed robbers. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Hesse said GIPSS will from next month embark on an aggressive public education to conscientise Ghanaians to avoid carrying physical cash to transact business.
