Police to escort companies and individuals withdrawing huge sums of money from the banks

The Tema Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Joseph Danquah has urged companies and institutions to call on the police for escort when withdrawing huge sums of money from the bank. 

His call follows yesterday's robbery incidence in Tema which resulted in the death of a Lebanese after withdrawing 200 thousand Ghana cedis without police escort. 

Speaking on Behind The News, ASP Danquah said police escort in such circumstances will ensure the security of withdrawers.
