The Daily Graphic calls on Ghanaians to monitor the utilisation of grants from development partners. This is because most Grants and Aids have been diverted to other sectors of the economy, or in some cases misappropriated. The situation sends wrong signals to development partners that the country is corrupt and not worthy of support. The paper says the only way Ghana can acquire a good name from its partners is to assess the impact of all utilised funds on the lives of the people. 

The Ghanaian Times commends the Ghana National Fire Service for its efforts in the face of all the challenges. This is because it lacks the needed logistics to enhance their work and often have to face public criticism for that. The Times calls on government and other entities to provide the service with the needed logistics especially a helicopter.

The Daily Heritage believes the conscience of the nation has spoken with the ban on names considered as titles by the Births and Deaths Registry being lifted. It says all said and done the Minister has listened to public Opinion and ordered the registry to lift the ban with immediate effect. The Heritage expresses its profound gratitude to all who supported the campaign against such lawlessness.
