Fire burns down 16 bedroom block at Aboabo in Ashanti

Fire has razed down a sixteen bedroom block at Aboabo in the Ashanti Region. 

The fire according to the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah is believed to have been caused by a faulty socket in one of the rooms. 

Confirming the incident to Radio Ghana, ACP Buah said the most amazing aspect of the whole unfortunate incident is that two Holy Korans which were in the first room where the fire started were not burnt even though everything in the room was completely burnt. 

He said there was no casualty.
