President Akufo-Addo Pays Tribute To Hugh Masekela

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a glowing tribute to legendary musician Hugh Masekela describing him as "the Freedom fighter, great artist, great musician, wonderful trumpeter, great friend". 

The South African legendary jazz musician and activist died on Tuesday aged 78.

The president on behalf of his family tweeted:"many thanks for the extraordinary music, marvelous memories, and exceptional friendship - you will be sorely missed by all of us in Accra."
