TEWU was part of Tier-2 Pension negotiations - General Secretary The Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU), has cleared doubts on the release of 3.1 billion cedis Tier two Pension Funds to workers unions. There have been growing concerns that TEWU was not part of the Unions that received the Tier Two pension funds released by government. In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the General Secretary of TEWU, Augustine Karbo, said the Union has been part of negotiations and had received its share of the funds. Mr. Karbo commended members of TEWU for their patience and perseverance during the negotiations with government for the transfer of the Tier 2 pension funds to the workers unions.
