Agogo Youth oppose compensation packages by Fulani community 

Members of the Agogo Youth Association are opposing the compensation packages requested by the Fulani Community over the shooting of some of their cattle.  

According to the members, the compensation demand is unfortunate.  

The Fulani community at  a News Conference in Accra demanded compensation for their cattle that were killed.  

But speaking with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Chairman of the Agogo Youth Association, Emmanuel Buabeng, said the compensation package should rather be directed to the children whose parents were killed and  innocent herdsmen and farmers whose plantation have been destroyed by the fulani herdsmen.  

He also called on government to totally eject the fulani herdsmen from Agogo.
