First phase of UG Medical Centre to be ready soon

The first phase of the University of Ghana (UG) Medical Centre at Legon is almost complete. 

The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health, Robert Cudjoe who spoke to GBC’s Radio Ghana said there are few arrangements the Authorities are working on to ensure that the facility becomes operational soon. 

Mr. Cudjoe also mentioned that government is seeking funding to start the second phase as soon as the first phase is done.

On the issue of management of the facility, Mr. Cudjoe said the President has directed the Ministry of Health, Education and the University of Ghana to meet and come out with appropriate recommendations on how to manage the facility efficiently.
