Dr Mahamudu Bawumia: Vice President under medical observation

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is unwell and being attended to by his doctors, the presidency has said.

The presidency in a statement signed by Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin, on Friday, 19 January, said Dr Bawumia “reported feeling unwell” in the early hours of today.

“He was attended to by his doctors, and is currently undergoing medical tests and observation,” the statement added.
