Licenses of small scale miners to be audited 

The ban on small scale mining ends this month. This will then pave the way for the implementation of the Multi-Sectorial Mining Integration Project, MMIP. 

As part of the MMIP, licenses of small-scale miners will have to be audited before they work. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana's Joyce Gyekye, the Acting National Project Co-ordinator of the MMIP, Isaac Bonsu Karikari said it is uncertain if the MMIP will be implemented immediately the ban is lifted.
