Society must understand this and stop these wanton attacks on Police stations and their personnel. The Times is therefore urging government to take steps to close the Police population ratio which stands at one policeman to a population of 844. The paper believes this will make available more human resource for expanded community policing and visibility strategies. The Daily Heritage lauds President Akufo-Addo for keeping his pledge to engage the media more frequently to answer questions as a way of enhancing transparency in his administration. The paper says today's encounter will be the second time the President is availing himself after assuming office.
