President Akufo-Addo Engages Media Tomorrow President Akufo-Addo will tomorrow (January 17), hold a media encounter at the Flagstaff House to mark his first year in office. Some Editors and selected Journalists will have the opportunity to ask the President critical questions on his stewardship and the state of the country in the last one year. This will be the second of such encounters since he assumed power. In his last encounter, the President was quizzed on vigilantism, galamsey, appointments and flagship policies such as the Free SHS which kicked off last September. The event will start at 11:30 am. Even though government has not been able to fulfill all the campaign promises it is the widely held view among officials and a section of the populace that the President has achieved so much. A few days ago, President Akufo-Addo nominated Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor after signing into law the bill creating that office. This is expected to generate media discussions as to what went into the choice. The initial challenges facing the Free SHS, and the one district one factory are expected to also come up for discussion. Story: Bright Ntramah GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
