Alleged Lebanese rapist granted bail An Accra High Court has granted bail to Rabih Haddad, the 39 year-old Lebanese alleged to have raped his 19- year -old house help. The court, presided over by Mr Justice Kofi Dorgu, granted bail to Haddad in the sum of five hundred thousand cedis with two sureties. One of the sureties must be a gainfully employed Ghanaian with a fixed place of abode. In addition to the bail conditions, the suspect is required to deposit his passport at the court and each time he want to travel outside Accra, he must seek permission from the court. Counsel for the Lebanese rape suspect, Ralph Poku-Adusei after the court proceedings told the media that the facts in court does not support the charges levelled against his client.
