The Daily Graphic is saddened by the reported comments by the President of the United States, Donald Trump where he referred to African countries, as well as Haiti and El Salvador as 'shitholes'. The paper says long before Mr Trump made his purported comment, most of the so-called developed countries have said so covertly or overtly. The Graphic therefore advises citizens of the so-called developing world to take their destinies into their hands, resolve to stay in their countries and try to make a living, traveling only when duty calls.

The Ghanaian Times wants to know whether the office of the Special Prosecutor is ready and resourced with the necessary logistics and personnel for a smooth take off. The paper asks this question against the back drop of complaints by the Administrator-General about lack of logistics to effectively carry out his mandate. The Times expects that funds for the running of the office will be duly released without impediment from other state bureaucratic institutions.

The Daily Heritage is of the view that AMA'S decongestion exercise is becoming a mere ritual. Checks by the paper over the weekend revealed that there were free movement around the railway line and the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange due to the demolition exercise. It says history tells us that such ventures end up being futile because the traders return to build their demolished structures to do business again. The paper welcomes the move by the C.E.O of AMA to enforce the Hawkers bye law of 2011 and arrest buyers who patronise the services of sellers at unauthorised places.
