LEAVE ABOVE BOARD - EDDIE DOKU CHARGES


The Chairman of the Referees Appointment Committee Eddie Doku, has charged the knights of the whistle to represent the fraternity well in all their endeavors. 

At a ceremony at  the Ghana Football Association's Secretariat,twenty -two Ghanaian referees were presented with their FIFA badges.  

A total of ten (10) referees including Daniel Laryea who will be at the CHAN tournament and 12 assistant referees  received their badges for 2018.


Speaking at the event, Eddie Doku admonished the men in black to always be on the right side and do the right thing. 

The Chairman said, “let them say, so long as you are doing what is right, let them say. Whether you do good or bad they will talk but make sure you are always on the right side so that when they say it, it is their problem. You have not shamed the Committee in any way but go out there and perform. 

Exco member Leanier Addy, GFA Secretary Isaac Addo, Joseph Wellington and Referees Association of Ghana Chairman Joe Debrah and GFA Technical Director Oti Akenten were all present at the event. 

Each Referee as well as Assistants were also given 4 Chest badges, a pin, three sleeve badges, an identity card, a toss coin, cards (red/yellow) and FIFA Intergrity.
