GCPP Commends President Akufo-Addo For Meeting Leaders of Political Parties 


The Great Consolidated People Party, (GCPP)) has expressed gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for meeting and soliciting ideas from other political parties on some pertinent national issues. 

The party believes such conduct is good for national cohesion and gives credibility to policies of the government.

Leader of the GCPP Dr. Henry Hebert Lartey told gbconline that issues such as elections of MMDCEs, Celebration of Silver Jubilee of the 4th Republic, Creation of additional administrative regions are very important and ought to be implemented with the collectivity of all stakeholders.

He said the discussions were nationalistic and the various political parties were fourth coming with ideas that are of national interest.

Dr. Lartey said if the current posture of the president continues, it will help greatly in making politics in Ghana enviable to the rest of the world.

He praised the Akufo-Addo government for the Planting for Food and Jobs program which he believes falls directly under the GCPP's domestication philosophy. 

Dr. Lartey said the NPP has laid a good foundation for his party to efficiently execute its "domestication" philosophy when he assumes the presidency in January 2021.

He asked Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana goods and services to help boost the local economy and make the country self dependent.
