President And First Lady Rebecca Fete Hundreds Of Children At Flagstaff House 

The First lady Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the President have feted hundreds of children at the Flagstaff House as part of the New Year celebrations. 

The annual event by Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo is to interact with the children and encourage them in life. 

In her speech, Mrs Akufo-Addo asked the children to be studious as education is the surest way to success. 

It was an ecstatic and colourful scene at the flagstaff house as the children played games such as musical chairs, 'oware', ‘ludo’, hide and seek, bouncy castle among others.  They were served food, confectioneries and given story books. 

The children who could not hide their excitement thanked the first family for the gesture.

Mrs Akufo-Addo wished the children well in the new year and asked them to make education their bedrock. She said government will do all it can to improve educational standards.    

President Akufo-Addo who was present also had a word for the children.
