Science and Technology Bill Before Parliament - Prof. Frimpong Boateng

The Minister of  Environment Science Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has announced that the Science, Technology and Innovation, (STI) fund and the Science and Technology Advisory Council Bills are before cabinet. 

He said when enacted it will provide more direction to the sector and also ensure that one percent of Ghana's GDP is contributed to the fund for research. 

Speaking on what government is doing to support Apostle Kwadwo Safo at his Annual Technology Fair, Prof Frimpong Boateng announced that government is encouraging the setting up of industries that can help multiply his technological creations and factories that can generate raw materials to provide goods and services and create wealth for Ghanaians.
