Environment Minister says Ghana not ready to ban plastics

The Minister of Environment, Science Technology and Innovation, Professor Frimpong Boateng, says the country is not ready to ban all forms of plastics.

He said a committee has been set up to draft a plastic policy to which Ghanaians will make their input. 

Professor Boateng said the draft policy will be out by the middle of January. 

He disclosed this when asked about the plastic menace facing the country.
