Forgive and your destiny shall be fulfilled - – Rev. Ziba tells Christians

The Head Pastor of HolyGhost Assemblies of God Church in Bolgatanga, Rev. Dominic Ziba, has said Christians cannot choose to avoid adversity, but they can choose how they will respond. 

According to him, through adversity, God is able to accomplish so much in our lives, if believers will only trust God and seek His purposes. 

Rev. Ziba said Apostle Paul could withstand adversities arising in his life with victory in his soul for he looked upon them as being divinely sent or allowed to work good in his life. 

Rev. Ziba who was preaching on the topic “Arising from Adversities” said no one want to be troubled or tempted but troubles or temptations gives birth to success. 

He charged Christians not to concentrate much on their problems but rather seek the face of the Lord at all times. 

He said every successful life without adversities is incomplete. 

He stressed that adversity is a test God in his own wisdom normally put before his children to test their faith. 

Rev. Ziba who is also Zone “A” Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church in the Upper East Region said adversity is the main reason many people cannot succeed in life. He underscored the need for Christians all over the world to learn to forgive each other. 

He said God cannot trust any Christian if they do not cultivate the spirit of forgiveness. 

He said God blessed Job because he forgave his friends who offended him and again prayed to God to forgive his friends. 

Rev. Ziba said when Herman, Soul, Pharoah among others said they will not learn to forgive they suffered at long last but not those they perceived have offended them. 

He said Joseph, David and others also succeeded because of the spirit of forgiveness they cultivated. 

Rev. Ziba said no one can rise beyond where he or she is standing until his or her service to God is complete. He said before one can be honored he or she must be humble in all his or her endeavors.   

Rev. Ziba said the devil finds work for idle hands so must find themselves something worth doing to end a decent living. 

He said Joseph was in prison but was still interpreting dreams. 

Rev. Ziba called on Christians to change their attitude towards one another and to foster love in their communities. 

He appealed to the youth to do away with tendencies that retarded progress but rather engage in ventures that promoted the development of their communities.
