GJA President calls for comprehensive investigation into alleged attack on journalists at NPP Headquarters

President of the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA, Affail Monney has called for full scale investigation into an alleged attack on some journalists at the NPP Headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra. 

The journalists were reported to have gone there to cover a demonstration by some NPP supporters.

He said "an attack on the journalists is an attack on media freedom and the root of Ghana's democracy". 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Monney said the GJA is going to push from all fronts to ensure that those journalists who were attacked get justice.
