The Ghanaian Times applauds the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA, for recognizing efforts of Journalists for their contributions to national developments. The paper adds its voice to the call of the President of the Association, Affail Monney on managers of media houses to cooperate with the GJA, as it pursues better salaries and conditions of service for jounalists. The Times calls on the public to support the media with free flow of information to achieve desired results.

The Daily Graphic supports Parliament in calling on the Chief Justice to work with dispatch in the probe of officials of the Electoral Commission. The paper says the speedy resolution of the issue will help the commission maintain its credibility. The Graphic believes every effort should be made to consolidate Ghana's democracy.
