Budget estimate for office of gov't machinery for 2018 outrageous - Minority The Minority in Parliament says the Budget estimate for the office of Government Machinery is too outrageous and must be checked. They said the sum of one billion, nine hundred and forty-two million Ghana cedis allocated to the office is equal to the Budget of more than five Ministries put together. Speaking on the floor of Parliament the MP for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Ato Forson said aside from the huge funds allocated to the office, there is policy confusion, duplication and role confusion thus depriving most Ministries and Agencies funds to work with. He said goods and services alone for the 2018 Fiscal year for the Office of the Chief of Staff is one hundred and ninety-two million Ghana cedis. The Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation, Anthony Akoto Osei, said the office of the President is not over funded as is being peddled by the Minority.
