Police to probe ‘gang rape video’ recording 

The Ghana Police Service has constituted a special investigation team to analyse a video recording of what appears to be a gang rape involving a young lady and at least five men.

The team, constituted at the CID Headquarters, is to examine the video with the aim of identifying those involved and get them arrested for the necessary legal processes to be activated.

The police in a statement on Monday said it has intercepted the video recording.

The Police Public Affairs Department is therefore appealing to anybody with any relevant information to report to the cybercrime unit of the CID Headquarters for further action.

“All media houses and those in possession of the video to stop circulating it since it is an offence to circulate such obscene materials,” the statement added.
