The Ghanaian Times lauds the call by Nii Ayi-Bonte, Gbese Mantse and Adonten of the Ga State, for unity amongst Ga Chiefs to make the marine drive project achieve its objectives. The project which is being implemented in phases involve the construction of  restaurants, and founders park to honour Ghana's founding fathers, a 300-seater concert hall, landing site for fishers, a wharf, modern fish market, commercial properties, malls, hotels and office complexes. The paper commends government for implementing the project which can potentially open Accra up to more investments and businesses to grow the economy and provide jobs for the benefit of Ghanaians.

The Daily Graphic thinks the constitution needs to be amended to strictly ensure the complete separation of powers, where MPs will stick solely to their parliamentary duties and be accountable to the people. The paper urges government to initiate moves for a second look to be taken at the current system where ministers are appointed from among MPs to ensure that parliament will be able to properly hold the Executive to account for their stewardship. 

The Daily Heritage writes on the outbreak of meningitis in the country. The paper says it is disheartening that the inability of Ghana Health Service to deal with emergency response has led to the loss of the lives of about ten students. It consoles families who lost their children to the disease and urge the public to be on the look- out to stay safe.
