NUGS to deploy health graduates, volunteers to combat swine flu & Meningitis The National Union of Ghana Students, NUGS, will deploy about 480 Health Graduates and students volunteers across the country following the outbreak of Swine flu and Meningitis in some Senior High Schools. This is to complement government's efforts at reducing the infections through containment measures by sector Ministries even as the country awaits the arrival and administering of vaccines across affected schools. In a statement the Union said the deployment exercise would cover both affected schools and schools yet to record a case. It is categorized under Emergency Phase 1 and Emergency Phase 2.
