NPP withdraws some proposed Amendments to its Constitution at Party`s extraordinary delegates conference in Kumasi President Akufo-Addo has led the crusade for the withdrawal of the controversial proposal which prohibits members of the NPP with dual citizenship from holding offices in the party. Two other proposals which include making Members of Parliament to appoint constituency executives as well as making the flag bearer of the party its leader have also been withdrawn. The President Akufo-Addo made this known at the party’s Extraordinary Delegates' Conference in Kumasi. The President said some of the proposed amendments will be a disaster if adopted.
