Second lady Mrs. Bawumia urges women to empower themselves financially  

The Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia says women should empower themselves financially to efficiently support their husbands in times of need and in emergency situations. 

She said adequate financial support from wives help husbands in running the affairs of the family. 

Mrs. Samira made this call at the 30th Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service of the Police Wives Association, POLWA in Accra.
