VIP, STC operators fight over terminal in Kumasi 

The planned grand opening of the State Transport Company's Asafo terminal in Kumasi Monday has been cancelled due to a disagreement among the local branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union, GPRTU, operators of the VIP and other transport operators as well as managers of the State Transport Company, STC.

GBC`s Correspondent Nicholas Osei-Wusu reports that, the timely intervention of the Police helped to maintain the peace even though the transport business in the area was temporarily disrupted.

Vehicles which were ready to depart from the station could not do so.
