Colombia aims Germany scalp

The FIFA U-17 World Cup bounces back on Monday with some mouthwatering knockout pairings. 

Germany travels to New Delhi to face Colombia at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to commence the journey to the quarter finals phase.

Germany who surprisingly lost 4 nil to Iran brought their title chase back on track after brushing aside Guinea in their last group game to finish as runners up in group B. 

The Europeans are one of the teams with porous defense haven conceded six (6) goals and scored five(5) so far in the tournament whereas their opponents Colombia who finished second behind Ghana have conceded just three(3) goals.

With the frailties of the Germans, Colombia striker Juan Penaloza will be hoping to increase his 3 goal tally as he guns for the goal king gong. The recent dominance by Germany in world football will be key to determine how far their U-17 team’s campaign will end. 

Group B winners Paraguay will welcome United States in the other game for the day.
