All rural communities to be rolled onto new electrification project - Boakye Agyarko The Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko, says a new rural electrification programme will be rolled out to ensure that by 2020 all rural communities have power. He said currently 84 percent of Ghanaians have light and there are initiatives to identify the remaining 16 percent to be connected. Mr Agyarko was answering questions in Parliament on rural electrification.
