President Akufo-Addo charges Roads Ministry to speed up construction on Bolgatanga-Bawku Road

President Akufo-Addo has asked the Ministry of and Highways to speed up work on the construction of the 109 kilometre Bolgatanga to Bawku Road.
 
As part of his two day tour of the Upper East region, President Akufo-Addo paid a working visit to the construction site to see at first-hand the progress of work on the road, and also to interact with officials of Queiroz Galvao, the company in-charge of the construction.
 
The project which is to be completed in 2019 is behind schedule as only 14 percent is completed.  

President Akufo-Addo asked Minister of Roads and Highways to “sit down with the contractors and find a workable solution to the delay.
