President of Equatorial Guinea hails Ghana's democratic credentials The President of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Nguema has praised Ghana’s democratic credentials describing Ghana’s stability as worth emulating. Speaking at a joint media briefing at Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, President Obiang Nguema said Ghana is matured in electing its leaders. On bilateral relations, he said both countries have enjoyed a fruitful relationship. He was however worried that a number of accords and agreements that have been signed are yet to materialize, blaming it on lack of political will. He asked both Foreign Ministers to ensure that a Joint Permanent Commission is established which will make sure all agreements signed are implemented. President Obiang Nguema pledged to assist Ghana in its oil discovery. GBCONLINE
