Population Council, GHS endorse use of family planning methods The National Population Council and Ghana Health Service have jointly endorsed the use of family planning methods to control the Country's fast growing population. This is because rising population growth has the potential of derailing development and slowing economic growth in all spheres. At a news briefing on Family Planning in Accra Wednesday, the two organizations said there is a steady but slow increase in the adoption of family planning methods and there is the need to encourage more people to practice it.
