Gov`t urged to develop comprehensive, youth-led National Youth Policy 

A coalition of youth organisations, ''Voices Of Youth'' has called on President Akufo Addo to focus his governance agenda on developing a comprehensive, youth-led National Youth Policy that would transform the Ghanaian youth into productive members of society and to be active citizens and drivers of development. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the occasion of this year's International Youth Day, which falls tomorrow, the Convener of the Coalition, Emmanuel Edudzie said because of the absence of a youth policy, there are no harmonised and sustainable youth initiatives, noting that this has led to successive governments introducing ad hoc and uncoordinated programmes aimed at empowering the youth, which largely fail.
