Police arrest serial fraudster, confident trickster 

Police have arrested one Faith Mensah Tekpor, a serial confident trickster who poses as a Medical Doctor with several names such as Dr. Jeff Alvin Addow, Dr. Alvin Owusu, Dr. Alvin Annan, Dr. Fiifi Owusu, Dr. Collins Amoah and Dr. Alvin Mensah to defraud people.
  
His victims are mostly women and he normally operates within Accra, Sakumono and Tema. A statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs at the Police Headquaters, DSP Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman said, Faith Mensah Tekpor is presently facing trial for defrauding by impersonating and also under investigations for similar fraud offences.
  
Until his recent arrest, the suspect had jumped Court bail and was listed as a wanted person following a bench warrant.
 
His modus operandi includes posing as a medical practitioner, approaches and proposes to a woman and pursues her to keep as a 'girlfriend" with the potential of a lasting relationship and records his sexual encounters with them, whether known to them or not. 
 
In the course of the relationship, he lies and takes money from them with the promise to refund them.
 
When the money lent to him has become quite substantial, he begins to blackmail his victims with the recording of their sexual encounters.
 
Police intelligence shows that there are other victims of this fake Doctor who have been blackmailed into silence by this confident trickster whose real name is Faith Mensah Tekpor. 
 
These victims are therefore encouraged to report their cases to the nearest Police station or call the short code 18555 (MTN and Vodafone) or 0244682740 or 020777001 to report their cases. 
 
The public is also advised to be alert when dealing with strangers who make outrageous promises and to report suspicious activities and persons to the Police.
