President Trump says North Korea "fire and fury" warning was "not tough enough"

President Trump has stepped up his rhetorics against North Korea telling reporters that his earlier threat to unleash fire and fury may not have been tough enough.
 
Mr Trump has warned North Korea it should be "very, very nervous" if it does anything to the US, although he will always consider negotiations.

His comment comes after Pyongyang announced it had a plan to fire four missiles near the US territory of Guam.

His Defence Secretary, James Mattis, however said diplomacy is bearing fruits.

Tensions have escalated in recent weeks after North Korea tested two intercontinental ballistic missiles last month.
