Ghana names 18-man squad for Chan Qualifier against Burkina Faso Eighteen (18) players have been named as part of Ghana's squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying match against Burkina Faso. The Black Stars 'B' will take on their Burkinabe counterparts in the first leg tie of their CHAN qualifying match on Saturday August 12 before hosting their opponents at the Kumasi Stadium next weekend. The squad includes Ghana Premier League Best player for the month of (July) Thomas Abbey and experienced Ghana defender Awal Mohammed. The team will depart Accra on Wednesday at 7pm. The Black Stars 'B' who are two time finalists are hoping to qualify to the 2018 CHAN which will be staged in Kenya in January.
