Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia holds talks with Iranian Foreign Minister

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has held talks with Ghanaian vice-president, Mahamudu Bawumia in Tehran.
 
In the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on the ways to expand bilateral relations, especially in the fields of industry, energy, banking and agriculture.

Ghana’s Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia is in Tehran to attend President Hassan Rouhani’s inauguration on Saturday August 5. 

The swearing-in ceremony for President Rouhani will be held at the Iranian parliament.

Saturday has been declared a holiday in Tehran.
