The Daily Heritage is pleased that the law has taken its course in the Mawarco assault case. The Abeka district court  last Wednesday sentenced  a Lebanese restaurant supervisor, Jihad Chaaban to nine months imprisonment for dipping the face of an employee in a pepper sauce. The paper hopes the ruling would be a deterent to foriegn employers who dehumanise Ghanaian workers. The heritage commends the victim for fighting for her right in the law court to ensure justice was served.
