Pharmaceutical Society urged to explore West African markets

The Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo says it is time members of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana explore the possibility of capturing the West African market with their medicines and pharmaceutical inputs. 

He noted that medicines and pharmaceutical products made in Ghana are highly respected and accepted within the sub-region and it is the vision of government to establish Ghana as the pharmaceutical manufacturing hub for West Africa. 

Mr Osafo Marfo urged the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana to work in partnership with government to ensure that this vision becomes a reality. 

He was addressing the 2017 Annual General Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana in Kumasi.
