Upper West Region: Fall Armyworms The fall Armyworms that invaded farms months ago are still active in operation destroying crops and rendering the efforts of farmers in the Upper West Region futile. Although the farmers have received some chemicals from government to spray on their farms, the worms do not seem to go away. The farmers who are not sure the affected crops will do well are predicting a possible food shortage if stringent measures are not put in place to salvage the situation. By Lydia Darlington Fordjour.
