Second Lady Samira Bawumia Meets Kumkum Bhagya Stars

Wife of Ghana’s Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia during one of her stops in India on her recent visit to that country, visited the set of the popular Indian series 'Kumkum Bhagya' to interact with some of the actors.

The Indian series which is aired on Accra based Television, Adom TV channel on MultiTV every weekday is ranked among the most watched TV programs in Ghana.

With the love Ghanaians have for the series, it comes as no surprise to see the wife of the Vice President, Samira Bawumia meet the stars of the show.

The photos of the meeting was posted on Instagram by Shivani (the character Pammi in the series) who described the encounter as an honour.

Judging by the comments some Ghanaians gave under the post, the move was welcomed by the fans of the show, and no doubt they will be rushing home to their TV sets to catch the next episode.
